Long Sick Weekend

Wasn't able to attend Mike's wedding this weekend. Both my kids got sick. Thomas ended up having Bronchitis, emmy's got a cold w/ a fever, and my throat hurts today. I've been a mean bad wife to Bob. Took out a lot of my anger on him over the phone as I had no help this weekend with the sick kids. I feel bad. He should be home shortly. I promise, I'll be nice.

The house is quiet as the rest of the family is down south enjoying the hot Florida sun. Emmy keeps asking me to take her to Disney World. Hehehe...maybe in a few years.

Packing has been quite successful. I've done all the work myself, as usual. Alot of the junk has been packed and I wanna say we've got about 20 boxes packed. The rest of the stuff are the big and important stuff like the bed, computers, dressers, etc... which will go when we do the actual moving.

The packing never ends

I've been packing for the past week. We've got loads about a dozen boxes packed and really nothing has really even been pack. We really stored up a lot of junk in this house for the past 8 years. The packing adventure continues....
gotta get ready for work.

Early Mornings, Late Nights

Been a busy week. Today's already Thursday!! The Neighborhood Festival is this weekend and I'm excited for it-
The house counter addendum is still in the works. He has till today to get back to us so we'll see where that goes.
I just notice that Thomas has a really big head today...like father, like son???
Yesterday after work, I took the kids out on a stroll and we stopped by Family Dollar to get a drink. With my luck, I had to use the bathroom and of course, family dollar doesn't have a bathroom. Thank you very much. I had to walk back home to use it. Thank goodness I was able to hold it. LOL....
The kids were so exhausted by the time we got home they both knocked out for a few hours. I had to make them get up so they'd sleep through the night. They both were not very happy. Hehehe...
Bob's out at PT for his neck. I'm glad he's finally getting PT done. He needs it. Been up early, up late...no sleep.

where has the time gone? i haven't posted a blog for a long time now. i find myself all wrapped up btwn my kids, work, the house negotiation, and family. i'm tired and all i want to do is sleep in but i can't. not even on the weekends- my thomas is sitting now and emmy is smarter than ever. she's gotten bigger and taller as well. thomas is chunkier by the day. bob and i have been well. i've been really excited, stressed, and nervous all at the same time. i hope all goes well and we'll be okay once we're really out. i told my mil, "mom, i think you and my mom were right, we're gonna end up eating noodles everyday." EEECKKK!!! SCARY!!!

hehehe...but all in all, i know God will take care of us! he always does-=)

Our Home ?!?

Isn't it amazing! I love the house. Bobby and I have looked at over 25 homes w/in the past 2 months and this was the one we fell in love with as soon as we walked in. We met w/ Cheryl today and put in our offer of 135,000. I know they're going to counter-offer so we'll have to see where this leads us. We are seeing one more home tomorrow in CR, just for the heck of it. I'm excited, yet nervous! Can't wait to hear what they say with our offer!

It's already going to be mid-april already. I cannot believe how fast this year is going, but i'm loving it thus far. This year has been good to me. I'm really excited for everything. Work has been well and i'm really comfortable with my part time hours. I think they work great with kids. We have been pre-approved for a loan so I'm very excited. We're hoping to start looking soon this month and have contact with a Realtor already.

Last night all four of us were up late. I was gathering up some old toys, accessories, and junk that just sits around for this year's garage sale. I'm planning on pulling out all of my daughter's baby clothes and selling half of that stuff b/c there's so many and i know i'll buy new stuff if we happen to have a baby girl again. Bobby put together Thomas's high chair and Emmy's bed once again.
Thomas is getting heavy for the play pin so we ask that she sleeps in her bed b/c she's the big sister and guess what, she made it through the night on her bed w/ no complains. I'm proud of her! It was so much easier w/ Thomas on our bed w/ us. He started nagging for milk at 7 and i made it and gave it to him and he laid there, held his bottle until he was done. I'm so proud of him as well.

I've decided to make more use of my life by volunteering some of my time to help out non-profit organizations. I joined Redeemer's Planning Committee again in preparation of the Neighborhood Festival. I also want to reach out to "Feeding the Starving Children" organization. What I do at work does not make me feel useful an anyway to my community so I feel like this way, I'll be able to connect and feel like I'm doing something good in my life and for my community.

May is a pretty busy month. We'll see what happens once I get my work schedule. I want to do quite a bit. God has been working my family's hearts this year. I'm happy to see everyone be productive and wanting to put action to his work. God is Good. I wouldn't know how I'd be if it wasn't for him. Thank you Lord!

Spring Fever!!!

Tomorrow Bob and I go and see how much we are approved for. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time but it's time. It's been too long. I've longed for a home for a long long time. Can't wait to start the hunt-down for my first home w/ my hub for my children.
This weekend brings a nonstop busy weekend again. Working in the morning and then church stuff. I've decided to make my life more meaningful so I joined the Planning Committe at Reddeemer again this summer. Plans for the Neighborhood Festival is on the way. I'm also planning on putting some of my time into volunteering at "Starving the Feeding Children". I'm excited to make life more exciting, fun, and worth while.
This month is busy. I start full time training in a few weeks in richfield. Work has been fine. Usual banking stuff. I do miss my co-workers and the ways of TCF everytime I pass by my old branch though.
Thomas will be 6months soon. We need to take family pictures. Soon!!! Spring is almost here. Can't wait!
