December will be here in 2 days. Crazy how time flew by this year. I've been picking things up here and there for the kids for xmas for the past month or so...We are offically done shopping for the kids. Now, we have to start looking for the adults. It's always hard buying gifts for adults. Jon got Bobby a really expensive gift this year so we'll have to make up to that. LOL. It would be bad if we got him a small gift. I have an idea of what to get for everyone else.
I start working again tommorrow. That means sleeping early tonight. No later than 10pm...let's hope. I start training downtown Mpls. Bob and I went down there to find it so I don't get lost tommorrow. HOpe it goes well. I pretty sure this is what God has in store for me so I'm just gonna go with it. We'll see what 2010 has in store for me and my family.
We got some small stockings for everyone to decorate and hang on the tree. I also grabbed some candy canes! It's always the best decor for the tree along w/ some red ribbons. Excited for xmas!

Black Friday Deals

Lisa, Tina, Becky, and I were maniacs this year. We hit up Target at 4am in the morning. Niam Lo Tou wanted electronics so we went there first. I got Emmy two 2-piece sleep wear for $5 each, "Made of Honor" movie for $3.99, "The Office, season 2" tv series for Bobby @ $12.99, and 2 towels @ $1.50 each.
At Walmart, it was beyond crazy. People are ghetto there and it was extremely busy. I didn't find much there. I got a blender and a small grinder @ $4 each, and a princess treasure box for Emmy @19.
We made it home at 9:30am; however I wasn't satisfied. I really wanted the TomTom GPS at Target so I dragged Bobby outta bed and went to Target and WAlmart again. Bob ended up getting "The Office", season 3 &4 and my emmy a winter jacket. He said the one Dara got her was a little too thin. The GPS and Portable DVD players were out. I was sad..but we were able to find a portable DVD player at Walmart in an abandon cart. It was only $49 so we grabbed.
Emmy loves it! Now when I'm on the computer doing my own thing, she can be busy on her own computer-so she calls it. LOL....it's also nice for traveling as well.
I love shopping on Black Friday. Can't wait till this time next year.

BLACK FRIDAY

I so cannot wait to shop like a maniac on Black Friday. Tina, Lisa, and I are ready to hit it up! I love the rush and the awesome deals. Bob and I were hoping to visit my family in Two Rivers but by the look of it, it probably won't happen. I hear snow is on its way as well. The funeral is now over. Everyone is drained from it. Ready to eat some turkey, ham w/ pineapple, mash, gravy, and more!

Long Weekend

Tommorrow is the offical burial of Grandpa Pa Chai Vang. He was kind, sweet, and the cutest. When Bob brought me home, it was him who was standing on the front steps (w/ a chicken, of course) giving us his blessings. The story of grandpa and his folklore stories will forever live on. We love you Gramps and will always remember you in our hearts. Goodbye...we'll see you at the gateway of heaven, our offical home!

Been thinking alot

This weekend is gonna be crazy. I'm gonna be tired outta my brains. Guess Chee's not coming to babysit Emmy on Sat anymore but Mom and Dad will so she'll be busy w/ them. I've been thinking alot about my future and what my career holds for me. As happy as I am w/ my BA, I feel like it's not helping me. I'm starting to consider Accounting. I think in January, I'm gonna take some Accounting courses at NHCC to see if I like it. If I do, I"ll probably complete the certificate there and pursue accounting as a career instead...maybe an accountant for Wells Fargo. LOL...we'll see. Only God knows.

At the bank again

Got the job offer at Wells as a personal banker- however i turned it down and asked for them to reconsider me as a part time teller. I'm meeting up with the branch manager sometime this week and should be on my way to gettin some extra cash in the door while I do some volunteer work, make another baby, and spend time w/ my girl.

1 week before the offical funeral

It still feels awefully weird the fact that grampa is gone b/c it just doesnt feel that way. Maybe I havent gotten use to him around at someone's house for a long time...You know that feeling = where you go somewhere and you expect that person to be there. Maybe b/c he's been in the old folks home for so long.
The funeral is a week away and I'm not sure if i'm ready for it. I'm sooooo freakin scared of funerals, coffins, funeral homes, etc....but what can you do when it's your person. You have to braven up that damn heart and let it be. I know it's gramps and he would never do anything to scare me or the family...but damn, those Hmong funeral homes are creepy up the ass. I hear scary stories about this funeral home we're doing gramps at. Errgg....
It's gonna be work work work and more work up the butt. We've decided to keep the funeral home open 24 hours and it's gonna be really tiring for the men. My family is coming for gramps funeral. Can't wait to see them....It'll suck though cus i wont' be able to enjoy time with them...I guess there's always next time.

Christmas Shopping

Last night Bob and I went out to do some late shopping. Got my Emmy her pink pony and a purse set w/ fake makeup. I know she's gonna love it. Now I offically got Emmy, Cela, and Christian done. We're broke so we're going cheap this year...
I'm gonna call up Toys for Tots this year and get my daughter registered for some extra free toys. Excited.

Long day wasted to nothing

A day

Emmy got her flu and H1N1 shot today. She was such a big girl...I took her to target to buy some new princess markers and an Ariel notepad b/c she was so good. Visited Chelle's new house and I envy her sooo freakin much. I'd love to have place of my own...
The long ass drive back home made me hungry. Emmy wanted McDonalds...but we ended up at Boba. Bobby joined us. He could of died today b/c his stupid machine exploded and metal parts were flying all over but luckily, he wasn't at the machine otherwise his head would of probably been chopped off. Yeah distrubing... Anyway- he got pissed off, took vacation, and came home.
I'm feeling completely lost. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to be doing...What can I do to better my life. I need to find a good job. I don't care if it's an Admin/Office/Clerial position. Acutally that's what I prefer right now b/c I can't get into the Education system.
I just want to be in place and ready to move to the next step, but instead, I feel like i'm back at step 1. I'm overwhelmed.

5 Hours of Shopping

Emmy and I were out and about for 5 full hours. My girl was sooo good this time. She walked the whole time, no nagging, no running around...just hanging out with mom as a good daughter. LOL. I love my little punk. What would I do without my best friend Emmy.

Grace Kashia Ly

is offically here! Actually, she's been here for a couple of days already so this is a late update. Hehe...She's cute as ever...got 2 dimples, one on each side! I already got her a x-mas gift already. Here comes spoiled. I'm excited b/c I am finally an Auntie from my side of the family. Crazy though...Tony as a dad is still kinda weird..LOL...

Weekend of Halloween

Plans were changed b/c of the funeral meeting. I'm was annoyed by everything...the night ended with us 3 at Fridays dining for in for dinner.
Sunday-day light savings time rocks my socks! I get to get up late and it's still considered early. LOL. Oh so get this, after i washed up my girl, i let her play in the bath tub. I walk pass and she's saying, "ACURA-CA-DABRA, ACURA-CA-DABRA" to the shampoo, while pouring water on herself. She's such a dork. This is why I love her so much.
